A non-profit project of the Center of Southwest Culture, the purpose of SSE is:
• To create a strong economy by using a multi-disciplinary approach to improving the well-being of women and families
• To improve the health of women and families through a woman-centered approach to the issues affecting their health
• To educate the public about the risk factors affecting the health and well-being of women and families
• To advance policies and programs that address the biological, psychological, environmental and social factors effecting the well-being of women and families
• To promote awareness of the economic impact of improving the health and well-being of women and families.
